Connecticut metalcore group In Honor Of today released a music video for their first new music since 2016. Watch the video for “Slipping Away” below.

Along with the video, In Honor Of shared that after 6 years they will be wrapping it up via a post to their Facebook page. The statement reads: “This band has never been one to just give up. Over the years we’ve done whatever it takes to make it through anything, and it’s always been about our love for music. However, people change as time goes on and take different paths in life, and because of this, we believe it’s time to put In Honor Of to rest. This band has opened our eyes to the world and has given us some of the most unforgettable experiences that we will all cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you to every single person that has ever helped our band. It’s because of you that we’ve been able to accomplish so many things that we only dreamed of as kids. It’s difficult to end something that has meant so much to us for so long, but this is just the beginning of the next chapter and this will not be the end for us as musicians.”

“We’d also like to offer a gift as a “thank you” to all of you – we present to you our farewell song, ‘Slipping Away’.”

“We will be playing a final show, and will announce details as soon as we possibly can. Thank you all for the last 5 years. It’s been an amazing ride.”

Keep an eye on In Honor Of’s Facebook page for details on their final show.
