Sunflower Bean released a new single and video, “In Flight.” The track comes off their new album, Headful of Sugar, out tomorrow, May 6, via Mom + Pop / Lucky Number.
Speaking about “In Flight,” vocalist Nick Kivlen shares:
“This song is a romantic vision of meeting a lover, running away together, and entering a dangerous new world. It’s less safe but also less suffocating. The video follows me through a series of twilight zone-style mishaps as I search to be seen or understood. Things only improve when I finally find like-minded people. Is it a dream? Is it the multiverse? It’s for the viewer to decide.”

“In Flight” follows the release of earlier singles, “Who Put You Up To This?,” “Baby Don’t Cry,” “Roll The Dice” and “I Don’t Have Control Sometimes.”
Additionally, Sunflower Bean’s track, “Moment In The Sun,” is featured in Netflix’s Top 5 show Heartstopper and has since gone viral.
