California-based dream rock band Best Coast swept the East Coast off their feet during their headliner show at College Street Music Hall in New Haven, CT, with Frankie Cosmos as support. Best Coast has currently been on the run supporting Paramore for Tour Two, playing some headlining shows in-between dates. Vocalist/guitarist Bethany Cosentino struts the stage with both poise and angst, and her live vocals were exceptional. They played a wide variety of songs off of every record, including my personal favorite “No One Like You” from The Only Place (2012). If you aren’t already going to be seeing them on Paramore’s current tour, be sure to catch one of Best Coast’s headlining shows along the road!
