Seasoned veterans and exciting newcomers joined forces for the Rage on the Stage tour, and it certainly lived up to its name. The show opened up with great sets from Escape the Fate and The Word Alive, before We Came as Romans took the stage. Touring on their new album, Cold Like War, the band seemed to have a new life and youthful energy on their side, as they played through songs from each of their albums. Old jams like, “To Plant a Seed” were certainly crowd-favorites. However, once I Prevail took the stage, it was clear who the crowd’s favorite truly was.
Kicking off their set with their hit song “Come and Get It”, I Prevail took over the crowd with their classic duo of catchy sing-alongs and angry riffs. The headliners played a total of 14 songs (nearly all of their discography)- and the crowd still wanted more after it was done. It will be interesting to see if the band can release another album that lives up to the standard set by their debut album, Lifelines.
