Connecticut’s newest music festival, Sound on Sound Festival recently announced its inaugural lineup. Attendees will enjoy performances from 22+ artists, including Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, The Lumineers, Stevie Nicks, Brandi Carlile, The National and more. See the full lineup below.
The two-day Sound on Sound Music Festival will take place September 24th and 25th at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT. There will be no overlapping sets across two stages, so festivalgoers will be able to enjoy every performance.
The experience extends beyond the music, as the festival promises activities for all ages and local food favorites. With gourmet options including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free choices, surely there will be something for every foodie in attendance. There will also be a selection of craft beer, wine, and cocktails throughout the festival grounds. For those looking to relax with a drink between sets, specialty bars will be offering lounge spaces featuring wine at the Seaside Wine Grove, beer and sports streaming at the Craft Beer & Sports Hall, and specialty cocktails at the Shaken and Stirred lounge.
From the creators of the popular Governors Ball festival, Sound on Sound will bring a fresh experience to Connecticut.
“It’s been a goal of ours to introduce a world class musical festival to Connecticut; the place where I grew up and where co-founder Tom Russell and I spent our high school years together,” shares Jordan Wolowitz of Founders Entertainment. “Sound On Sound is a 2-day event that we’ve curated for a community that we personally feel so close to. As a Connecticut resident myself, I am proud to present a festival that celebrates exceptional music, hand-selected local food and libations, and outdoor fun spent at the beautiful Seaside Park.”
