Wallice shared a new single, “Loser at Best,” from her forthcoming EP, Mr Big Shot, out June 23.
The singer just wrapped up a tour with The 1975 and will be heading out on her own headline run in June.
On the track, Wallice shared:
“I started this song last May while on a writing trip in London. I would say this song is a bit of a love song to my boyfriend. We have been together for 8 years, but I was missing him at the time he was home and I was gone for a bit, and we started off as friends back in high school. This song is about wanted to feel needed and being intoxicated by love.”

I See Stars – “Anomaly” and “Drift”
I See Stars released “Anomaly” and “Drift,” two tracks off the band’s upcoming album.
Lead vocalist Devin Oliver shares:
“Anomaly was created from self-reflection and introspection during a time in my life when I was in and out of the hospital for 2 years battling a rare neurological disorder that led to me to chronic physical pain, headaches, & depression. It’s a powerful reminder to me that the clock is ticking and we must live on our own terms, true to ourselves and our values while battling the feeling of despair that comes when the world seems to be working against you.”
Speaking about “Drift,” Oliver shares, “[This song] nods to the concept of our upcoming album. This song was written to be bipolar by nature, giving you no choice but to surrender to the ebbs and flows of your thoughts and emotions, pulling you in and out of focus. This song highlights a newfound sense of clarity in the wheel that we all submit to. It continues to spin in and out of a dark trip that provokes as it forces us to explore the murky depths of our minds and uncharted territories of our own psyche.”

Dream Wife – “Who Do You Wanna Be?”
London’s Dream Wife unleashed their newest single, “Who Do You Wanna Be?” The track is the fourth released off their upcoming album, Social Lubrication, out June 9 via Lucky Number.
Dream Wife says the track is “about running on the capitalist treadmill and falling face first on the pavement.”
“Hollow slogans, social media activism without action, leftist infighting, monetizing feminism, ‘girl boss’, all soul-crushing nonsense. Capitalism consumes everything. We should tear down the unreachable anxiety-filled idea of perfectionism and move from hyper-individualized narrative to collective action to create hopeful, rebellious, collective, systems of care. This is a call to arms for change.”

Boys Like Girls – “Blood And Sugar”
After an 11-year hiatus, Boys Like Girls are back with a new single, “Blood And Sugar.”
On the track, Boys Like Girls’ Martin Johnson says:
“Thematically the song is fairly simple, an empty-calorie relationship that’s so delicious you don’t care. You’re willing to deal with the crash. It continues to beat you down yet you keep coming back for more pain…almost like you’ve learned to love it. Why this obsession? We’re only skin and bone. Humans. Just blood and sugar, really. I think everyone has an infatuation with something bad for them. Cigarettes. Sports gambling. Porn. Internet validation. Pills that change the way you feel. Buying too many shoes. I know I spend a lot of time trying to fill the empty hole where drugs used to be. I spend most of the time trying to fill that hole with “perfection.” But in the end…nobody’s perfect. Hey. we’re only blood and sugar, right?”

Regarding “Chunker,” Hail The Sun says:
“What we give out is what we get back. The confidence we have in our abilities to overcome and thrive is endless. Admittedly, doubt can fuel this confidence from non-believers, as trust is intimidating. It is threatening. And this can feel good. However, when spite lingers around, it only poisons the person harboring it, and we have been those people several times. Letting it go aligns with the initial cause of putting out what we want back, to begin with. Thus we grow.”
